Trailer Loading
Trailer loading
is probably the most dangerous thing you can do with a horse. You are
trying to put a 1000+ pound animal in a metal box. All of his behavior
problems will be magnified during this procedure. Leading, tying, head
shyness, spooking, kicking, rearing, bucking. All of these problems must be addressed
to trailer load your horse safely. We teach your horse to load one foot at a time,
slowly and calmly. You will be in complete control at all times. You
cannot expect your horse to be calm inside the trailer if he is not calm
outside. You will be able to stop your
horse from going in or out anytime during the
loading procedure, should you change your mind at any point. Your horse
will be taught a go forward cue, you can use any time you need him to go forward, over a puddle a bridge an obstacle on a
trail ride or something he may see and be afraid of. Just anywhere you
want him to go. You and your horse will be in calm, and in complete
control at all times. |
